Meal plans are available for both resident students and students living off campus.
What is a Mines Dining Cash Card?
Mines Dining Cash Card is a personal spending cash card that makes purchases at all your favorite Mines Dining locations fast and easy. No Need to carry a credit card or cash. There are no fees, with an additional 10% off every purchase. Mines Dining Cash Cards can replace Munch Money and works excellently for faculty and staff to save money and time.
How do I purchase a Mines Dining Cash Card?
To purchase a Mines Dining Cash Card, head to ourstore to pick from either $25, $50, or $100. Once you buy, you will be contacted when you can pick up your Mines Dining Cash Card at the front desk of Mines Market. Buy Here

What is the most popular meal plan?
For incoming Freshman, the most popular meal plans are the Marble and the Marble Plus which both give the most access to Mines Market, our all-you-care-to-eat dining facility.
What day and what time do weekly meal plans reset for the next week?
Weekly meal plans reset on Saturdays at midnight. Weekly meal plans do not carry over from week to week.
What is Munch Money and does Munch Money carry over from semester to semester?
Each meal plan comes with “Munch Money” which acts as campus dining cash and can be used at all dining locations on campus except for the student run Book & Brew in the Library.
Unused Munch Money on ALL meal plans (resident and commuter) will roll-over from Fall semester to Spring semester. Munch Money ends at the end of Spring semester and does not roll-over to Summer or Fall.
What all can I use Munch Money on? Can I use it on non-food products in Elements?
Munch Money cannot be used to purchase non-food products in Elements, such as toiletries. Munch Money can be used for all food and beverage purchases on campus except for purchases at the Book & Brew in the Library.

How do the plans with Meal Exchanges work?
Meal exchanges are available with the Marble, Marble Plus, Quartz, and Quartz Plus resident meal plans. We didn't forget about you, commuter students! Gold and Blue commuter meal plans also include meal exchanges. cardholders may use three meal swipes per week at ZIME all day, Einstein Bros. Bagels all day, Qdoba, 2pm-7pm Monday-Friday, and WOW American Eats from 2pm-7pm Monday-Friday and 2pm-7pm on Sunday.
Do meals at Mines Market carry over from semester to semester?
Only the Agate and Double Agate meals carry over from Fall to Spring semester only. Meals do not carry over from Spring to Fall semester.
Can I use gift cards at Starbucks, Qdoba and Einstein’s?
Starbucks is the only location that redeems gift cards on campus.
Can I treat friends or family to a meal on my plan?
Yes, you can treat friends or family at any Mines Dining location using your Munch Money or debit / credit card at Mines Market. Your weekly meals are for your own use only.
What if I have classes during scheduled meal times?
A variety of campus dining options are available throughout the day. You may also get a to-go box at Mines Market.
What should I do if I’m really sick, but need to eat soup and crackers or something of that nature?
Please contact Mines Market, 303-384-2202, for accommodations if you are ill and need a special meal. The team of chefs will work to prepare food for you.
